Ruggish was born at the end of 2024 in a small home in Western Sydney – just me, a single owner with two kids under 3. With most of my time spent at home with the little ones, I was always looking for ways to refresh the space and also needed a creative outlet. That’s when I decided to dive into rugs.

What began with custom rugs and experimental designs was never about chasing trends—it was about learning, testing, and creating without permission.

In the early days, Ruggish was hands-on and raw. I explored different styles, took custom requests, and let curiosity lead the process. Each piece taught me something—about design, production, boundaries, and what kind of brand I was actually building.

Over time, Ruggish evolved.

Today, the brand is more intentional and refined. I’ve stepped away from mass customs and into curated, limited releases that reflect a clearer identity—drawing inspiration from tattoo culture, Japanese aesthetics, nostalgia, and collectible design. Every piece now serves a purpose and fits within a bigger creative direction.

Ruggish is no longer about doing everything.
It’s about doing what feels aligned.

This brand represents growth—not just creatively, but personally. What you see now is the result of learning when to say no, trusting my taste, and committing fully to the vision.
